Dorm Teacher Duties＊ The life teacher is responsible for the daily management of the students＇ dormitory, and the position shall be held on a full - time contract basis In addition to the above responsibilities, the life teacher is responsible for the supervision of all school activities, and encourages students to take an active part in various activities according to their interests Dorm teacher also need to keep an eye on students＇ academic and social progress and actively communicate with them Maintain interaction with students and monitor all daily activities Provide creative activities for students to participate in Help students with time management Help students develop life skills Reconcile disputes among the students and make daily report Responsible for night rounds and dormitory count Responsible for accurate reporting of accidents, behaviour, learning and social situations All dorm teachers are required to participate in weekly dormitory management meetings to discuss and share students/dormitory progress, concerns, rules and regulations, management and improvement, etc Secure students safe in the dormitory Any other appropriate duties as allocated by the School’s Executive Leadership Team PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS – Skills, Knowledge and Experience Bachelor’s Degree will be preferable Current First Aid Certificate Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience English is workable Computer literate – competency with Microsoft Educational industrial background Pre-opening experience.
